A few weeks ago I was contacted by the lovely Rebecca from Osiris who had spotted a pair of Osiris glasses from Specsavers on my blog post MY MUSTHAVES last month, who asked me if she was to send me out a voucher would I review them. Straight away I said yes as had recently spotted so many Osiris frames when I was in getting my glasses fixed. Coincidently I was due and eye test so everything seemed to fit into shape. Never did I imagine they voucher would be for £150, this was fantastic as their frames are £125 and I always need to get my lenses thinned due to my terrible eyesight, so this would by far cover the cost with me only needing to add a small amount of money.
These were the glasses I had featured on MY MUSTHAVES and the ones I had planned to get. Specsavers are my usual opticians and due to being on their lens mail (I get my contact lenses posted out to me as I have a direct debit with them) I get a free eye test. Having my test booked I arrived about 20 minutes early (I know a bit keen lol) so I could have a look at all the glasses, take pictures and try to come up with my choice.
I tried on a range of different colours and styles, all from the Osiris brand, unfortunately they didn’t have the ones I featured in my blog, but there were plenty of others to chose from!
(P.S. SORRY FOR THE BAD PICTURES, A LOT OF STREAKS OFF THE LIGHTS, A BIT BLURRY DUE TO TAKING THEM WITHOUT SIGHT AS I HAD NO LENSES AND ALSO I LOOK A LITTLE ROUGH)
These were the first pair I tried on, I really liked them but thought they were maybe a little wide on my face.
I tried these ones on next and they were a total no for me, they just didn’t suit me.
These are a little like the Gok Wan ones I wear and I really liked them so had these in my want list.
These are a bit like the style I used to wear years ago but I definitely think I suit the larger geek chic ones so much more!
I liked the shape and look of these ones front/face on but side on I didn’t like the size or colour of the legs.
As much as I suit the thicker, larger frames I think these ones are a bit too heavy.
These ones I just fell in love with straight away, I loved how they looked on me and I also seen them on one of the girls working that night and they are gorgeous! Straight away into my want list!
Finally I tried on these and too loved them. The ombre style look would so suit my style and look perfect for Spring/Summer especially! Again straight into my want list!
NOW I’VE TRIED TO FIND ALL THESE GLASSES ON THEIR WEBSITE, BUT I WASN’T SURE IF I HAD THE RIGHT ONES, SO INSTEAD OF PUTTING THE WRONG LINK UNDER MY PICTURES HERE IS THE LINK FOR SPECSAVERS AND THE OSIRIS GLASSES SO YOU CAN HAVE A PEAK FOR YOURSELF.

These are my top three frames and my want list!
Here they are on.
So I was thinking that I could do the 2 for 1 offer so after a lot of deliberation I whittled it down to two pairs, the first two columns in the picture above. Unfortunately though when I got to the end where I picked my lenses and went to pay for them I realised I couldn’t use the voucher in conjunction with any other offer. So that held a massive dilemma, what ones do I pick?!
AFTER SO MUCH HMM-ING AND HA-ING
I PICKED . . .
The ombre style lenses.

My new glasses and my old glasses.
I totally love my new glasses and I have decided to definitely get the other frames after the summer as I think they will look amazing in Autumn/Winter as they are a darker frame.
So if you are looking for a new pair of glasses I would definitely recommend Specsavers, they have always been fantastic and I have been with them for over 10 years. With Osiris they have such a wide range of gorgeous specs so pop in or online and have a look!
