Little tourists in a big city – the random bits

In to this post I’m adding all the little things that 1 would be too small for a blog on their own or 2 are just a bit odd and random, so here we go, the weird and wonderful world of how my wee mind works

TRAVEL

First off at Schiphol Airport we bought a three day travel pass, this included our train to and from the airport to Amsterdam central and any train, tram or bus in and around the city for the three days we were visiting all for only 25 euros.

We went on two canal cruises, one during the day, which was the hop on and hop off

We didn’t find this one as good, just due to the weather and how dull it was out and about.

I would 100% recommend the night cruise, the canals lit up at night are beautiful

I loved the fact anyone could randomly just sit and play away on the piano in the train station (Amsterdam Central)

At 12.19 am Starbucks is STILL open in Amsterdam

ANNE FRANK HOUSE

You can’t take any pictures inside the Anne Frank House, and unfortunately we couldn’t pre-book so there was a 2 and a half hour wait.
